Classic Fonts started life as Lincoln Foundry in the late 70s, manufacturing all types of castings for a variety of industries.
In 2002 we were shown a design for a font and asked if we could manufacture it. Due to our casting experience, we pointed out that the shape would create problems in the casting and suggested some minor changes to help the metal flow. The customer was pleased and more orders followed.
From then on, due to our design expertise, casting know-how and high quality, we acquired more customers and Fonts quickly became a large part of our business.
Now we cater for small volume bespoke fonts which are manufactured in the UK, and high volumes which are manufactured through our company in Portugal, supplying the UK, EU, USA and China.

With the new Strongbow Dual Fount, we simply wanted to bring together the UK’s two best-selling cider brands in to one, stand-out fount on the bar. We know that stocking Strongbow Original and Dark Fruit together has a dramatic uplift on rate of sale for operators, so combining the two stand-out founts means a win-win for you and your customers.
